Dear Martha,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your husband seems like he was a wonderful person and I feel a connection since I too lived in a house I designed and built with my ex-husband and I play guitar. When someone you love goes out of your life it is a challenge but over time you build strength. Take care of yourself and your family. Laura

Dear Martha,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Scott sounds like an amazing companion. Not many could design and build a family home, and even fewer could fill it with 31+ years of love. May your love and memories sustain and fortify you during this difficult time.

Dear Martha,
I am so sorry about Scott's passing. I offer my most sincere condolences to you, Cody, and Wyatt.
What a lovely obituary! It captures him perfectly and makes me wish more than ever that I had really known. I knew him mostly from what you would tell me about him and about how much you were looking forward to retiring and being with him and enjoying your bunkie together. I have valued your friendship so much over the past eight years, and I knew how devoted you were to Scott. My heart is breaking for you.
Message from Ken Page, VT Principals' Association

The Vermont Principals' Association wishes to express its condolences for Scott's passing. Although I did not know, Scott, I felt like I did. Martha and I traded stories when I had my spinal stenosis surgery; later, when Scott had his surgery, I felt for him and for Martha who was greatly supporting him.
Enjoy your family and share wonderful memories.
