Tina and family,
I was so sorry to hear if Joel's passing. He was always helping everyone. He had a great sense of humor, too. I know he will be missed by many of us. He had quite an impact on many of us in the North County. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.

God has blessed us all for knowing and becoming friends with Joel. Joel's loving and inviting face, his smile, his easy mannerisms were always given freely when being greeted by him. We pray for his soul as he rests in the comfort of the Almighty.

We love and cherish his wife and daughters, pray for them as they continue on without his physical presence. Joel will be missed, and it is also true, that his spirit lives on in those he loved.

So sorry to hear of Joel's passing. I worked for Joel at Cannon Mtn. back in the 80's, and always considered him a friend. It was nice to see him at the golf course over the years. A true gentleman, he will be missed.

We knew Joel from the Maplewood. He was always, always kind and gentlemanly--beautiful ways, welcoming, and courteous to all, visitors and regulars alike. Talking with him before we teed off and, sometimes, while he was serving as a ranger, was always a treat. We are going to miss him something awful. Deepest sympathy to all of Mr. Peabody's family and friends.

My Cannon kids referred to him as Joey - not without respect, but because he was one of those grownups who wore his passions like his patrol jacket....sincere condolences to his immediate family and siblings; grateful that he was surrounded by your evidenced love and your memories of him will continue to share your journeys. much love -- Lyn

Joel was a wonderful man! We became friends while I worked at Mac's for 8 yrs. He always had a smile and a way to make me laugh. He is one of the sweetest, kindest hearted people that I have met, and I am thankful that I was able to become friends with such a great person. My condolences to Joel's family. I send my love and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. For everyone who were friends with him and loved him, he will forever be in our hearts. R.I.P. Joel.

I am so saddened to hear of Joel's passing. We were friends for many years through the life squad, volunteering at Ross Ambulance 40 some odd years ago, skiing and in the community in general. He was always a true friend and helpful to all he encountered! A star shining over Franconia has left the sky and the darkness it leaves will be filled with light from all of those lives he touched for so many years. Our memories filled with the joy of having known him will stay in our hearts always. My sympathy to you all.
