Gloria Lambert(Taschereau), 89, Dalton NH, passed away Monday morning, December 5 at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. Gloria was born on June 6, 1927 in Maine, to the late Alfred and Beatrice Taschereau (Chouinard). She was married to Maurice Lambert Sr. The couple live most of their lives in Dalton and together raised nice children.
Gloria was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Family was very important to her. She was a communicant at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Whitefield. Her favorite things to do in her very little spare time were playing cards and going to bingo. Gloria was talented at crocheting. She could make anything, and especially enjoyed making mittens, hats, and blankets for her family and friends.
Gloria is predeceased by her her husband Maurice Alfred Lambert Sr. as well as two sons Dennis and Richard Lambert. She is survived by seven children, Gary Lambert and wife Lori of Whitefield, Sharon Lambert of Littleton. Norman Lambert and wife Darlene of Dalton, Maurice Lambert Jr. and wife Patti of Alton, Glen Lambert and wife Jolene of Dalton, Sheila Lambert of Dalton and Wayne Lambert of Dalton, two daughters-in-law, Vivian Lambert of Alton, and Alice Lambert of Merrimack.
She is also leaving behind 25 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, a brother Mike and a sister Pat.
Visiting Hours will be at held at Ross Funeral Home, Whitefield Chapel, 69 Lancaster Rd, Whitefield, NH on Thursday December 8, 2016 from 6-8PM. Fr. Matthew Mason will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 9 Jefferson Rd, Whitefield on Friday December 9, 2016 at 10 at. Interment will take place in the spring at Cushman Cemetery in Dalton.
