William "Bill" H. Blodgett

William (Bill) H Blodgett passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025.

Born in Littleton NH, Bill was the son of Howard Blodgett and Gladys (Rollins) Blodgett being the fifth child of six. He spent his formative years in Franconia, Lisbon, Landaff and Littleton NH.

Bill dedicated years to doing plumbing work, before going to New England Wire. After he retired from NWEW, He had his own working wood shop in Landaff NH, Bill enjoyed working in the shop creating his own various wooden projects.

Bill survived by his daughters Teresa Brooks of Littleton NH and Holly MacArthur of Littleton NH. Pre-decease by his son Kevin Blodgett. One brother John Blodgett of West Burke VT. has nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Bill also has three stepdaughters Paula Bullard of Ryegate VT, Geraldine Estes of Barrington NH, and Debi Chamberlain of Bath NH.

Bill married Marjorie McPherson Hubbard in June of 1983. They enjoyed their years together while living in Landaff NH. It was their paradise world out on that dirt road. At times family would come to visit and sit on the porch and just relax. Telling stories of times gone by and the present.

Later years Bill loved to go fishing with his loyal friend John Bedell. Not too many fish caught but a good memory. One of Bill’s sayings was “If he could not make you smile then it wasn’t a good day.” His family is especially thankful for the excellent care from North County Home Health and Hospice.

A graveside service will take place for both Bill and Marjorie on Saturday, August 23, 1PM, at the Landaff Center Cemetery.
