William Edwin Grieb

William Edwin Grieb, 18 from Lisbon/Tamworth NH, died tragically on July 10, 2025. William was a gentle soul who touched all he met. He had an amazing wit and the best sense of humor. He loved hiking and going on outings with his mom to try new bookstores, coffee shops, or just to adventure. He loved all animals. He was an avid gamer, starting gaming groups in his high school for Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering. He treasured the times he visited his family in New York. He had a deep love of baking, and his dream was to open his own bakery one day. He was working at New England Wire Technologies for the summer and was planning on attending White Mountain Community College in the fall. Williams sudden death is a reminder that we are not promised tomorrow and to create memories today and to hold your loved ones tightly.

He is survived by his mother, Kiersten Grieb and her partner Geep Houston and his children Chloe and Merrick, his father Donald Grieb Jr., his siblings Rowan and Braedon, nephews Kian and Rhys, Great Grandmother Gloria Mace, Grandmother Kit Mace, Uncles Gregg Mace, Daniel Grieb, Michael Hermanowski, Sean Hermanowski, Aunts Erin Simone, Christine Mace. Cousins: Alex Simone, Julia Mace, Joseph Simone, Nikolas Mace, Ella Simone, Alexa Mace. Pets: Bandit, Gator, Gizmo, Toby, Cookie, Courtney, Jack, Sheldon William is predeceased by his grandfather, William Mace, His grandmother, Maureen Courtney, and his stepmom Virginia Grieb.

The Celebration of Life for William will be held August 23, 2025, at Houston’s Furniture Barn in Lisbon at 2:00PM.​​
