William Dixon Obituary

William Patrick Dixon, born December 29, 1965, son of Richard N. Dixon and Georgia Dixon, passed away on September 5th, 2020 after a long pancreatitis illness.

Billy grew up in Littleton, NH, attending Lakeway Elementary and spent his summers and high school years in St Huberts, NY, graduating from Keene Central School in 1984.

Bill, aka, Bucky, worked for many years in the hospitality industry at the Ausable Club in NY; the Anglers Club in Key Largo, Florida; and the Bretton Arms in NH. He had a kind heart and liked to help people. Bill loved skiing, golfing, fishing, car racing, and walking Jazzy the dog. He was a member of the Littleton VFW Auxiliary.

Bill is predeceased by his mother Georgia Dixon of Littleton. He leaves behind his father, Richard N Dixon of Palmetto, FL; Grandfather George E McAvoy of Littleton, NH; Aunt Suzanne Hopgood of Hartford, CT; Brother David G Dixon of Lincoln, NH; Sisters Linda A LaBarge of Keene, NY, and Cheryl L McAfee of Ellsworth, NH; Nieces Lindsay LaBarge of Queensbury, NY and Kate McAfee of Portland, ME; Nephew Ryan McAfee of Ellsworth, NH; Great Nephew Tripp Fernandez of Queensbury, NY; family friend and mentor Stanley Parker of Littleton; and life long Angel and family friend Eleonore Imrie of Lincoln, NH.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 11:30AM, at the Dells Recreation Center, Dells Road, Littleton.  Donations may be made in Billy’s memory to the North Country Serenity Center, 45 Union Street, Littleton, NH, 03561.
