Therese L. (Robitaille) Vincent, Terry to her friends, Age 91, of Dracut, Massachusetts and Littleton, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in Littleton, NH. Therese was born in the family home in Dracut, Massachusetts in 1934. Later in life, she and her husband purchased the same home from her parents, where she resided until moving to Littleton, NH in 2021 where she resided until she moved to the Morrison Nursing home in Whitefield, NH in March of 2025.
Therese graduated from Dracut High School and worked in the Lowell Textile Mills as a seamstress for many years. Therese was married in 1956 in Dracut, MA, to United States Air Force member, Raymond A. Vincent also of Dracut, MA. Therese and Raymond had one child in 1958, Louise Therese. Therese and Louise followed Raymond’s deployments around the United States and to Okinawa, Japan, before returning to Dracut in 1972. Once back in Dracut, Therese returned to work as a seamstress and then worked as an assembler for Wang Computer Labs in Lowell, MA and later Fireye Safety Systems in Derry, NH before retiring in 2004. In 1998, Therese met Frank Myslowski of Dracut, MA and they became close companions until his passing in 2008.
Therese was pre-deceased by her spouse, Raymond A. Vincent (1985), a grandchild, Matthew V. Doucette (1994), her parents, Theodule and Eva (Matte) Robitaille, her siblings and spouses, Raymond and Mary (Thibodeau) Robitaille, Carmen Robitaille, Walter and Nanette (Sicard) Robitaille, Doris (Robitaille) and Omer Allard, Victor and Pauline (Ayotte) Robitaille, and Roger Vivier.
She is survived by her sister, Germaine (Robitaille) Vivier, of Dracut, MA, her daughter and son-in-law, Louise (Vincent) and Michael G. Doucette, and her grandchildren, Michael R. Doucette and Jenna M. Doucette, all of Littleton, NH, and many nieces, nephews.
Therese loved to sew and travel wherever her family was going. Therese’s small family was her life, when she was able, she was constantly traveling to Littleton, NH to be near
her daughter and grandchildren as much as possible. Therese’s family would like to thank the staff and residents of the Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield, NH for their care and comfort during her last few months.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 17, 11:00 AM, at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Ryan Amazeen officiating. A graveside service will follow at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
