Stephen Gary Paquette

Stephen Gary Paquette, 40, of Littleton, NH died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2024.  Stephen was a kind soul with a love for music and the simple things in life.  He was known by many as the person you could always go to for a listening ear.  He was a compassionate and caring friend to all who knew him. 

Stephen lived most of his life in Groveton, NH.  On any given day you would have seen him, and the rest of his West St friends out riding their bikes around town.  Those childhood friendships remained constant throughout his life.  

As an adult Stephen pursued different career opportunities. He was a cook at Milano’s, at the Oasis and Applebee’s.  He was most proud of his job with Whiting’s Rubbish Removal and the friendships he created during this time.  

Stephen had a lifelong love of music, teaching himself piano and guitar.   Music exuded from him, he would play guitar socially and at family events with his father Chris.  He enjoyed live music and music festivals, he would regularly be seen wearing his favorite band t-shirts.

 Prior to his death, his family believed he had finally found his place in life. Stephen was a year sober with the assistance of AA.  He was proud of his accomplishments and the path he was on. 

Stephen is survived by his mother Jeanette Paquette, his father Christopher Paquette and his wife Josie. His son Oliver Paquette, daughter Marissa Stewart, his siblings Tabitha Paquette, Derrick Paquette and his wife Jill, Carrie Paquette, Nicole Kenison and partner Nicholas Fournier, Aaron Gaudette and his wife Emily,Trisha Gaudette, cousin Jason Paquette and his wife Karla. In addition, he leaves numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and, of course, his beloved dog Bill, who was with him till the very end. 

A public graveside service will be held at St. Rose Cemetery in Littleton, NH on November 2nd, 2024 at 11:00AM. This will be followed by a celebration of life at the Eagles club in Bethlehem, NH. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Starting Point Recovery Facility PO Box 928, Manchester, NH 03105.
