On May 1, 2020, Ronald “Ron” Costa, Sr, of Littleton, New Hampshire was called home to be with the Lord after a long illness. He was 75 years old.
Ron was the owner of Bristol County Constables in Fall River Massachusetts for over 20 years until his retirement. He served in the Army Reserves of Massachusetts. He was a member of the Blue Knights in Fall River, New Bedford, and Taunton, Massachusetts. He was also a member of the Auxiliary Police in Somerset, MA, a member of the Constables Association of Massachusetts and a Scout Master for Troop 51 in Acushnet, MA for several years and a Committee Chairman for the Boy Scouts of America.
Ron was the son of the late Belmira (Moniz) and Ernest Costa, Sr. of Somerset, MA. He is survived by his loving and adoring wife Sharon Costa (Rymut), two sons; Ronald Costa, Jr. and his wife Shelly of Tiverton, R.I., Brian Costa of East Freetown, MA. He was the brother of Ernest Costa of Swansea, MA, and Richard Costa and his wife Eleanor of Somerset, MA, and a grandson Owen Costa of Tiverton, R.I., and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date.
