Robert "Bob" Caron Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert “Bob” M. Caron, 80, announce his passing on September 18, 2024, with family by his side. He will forever be remembered for his kind, loving soul, being a friend to everyone he met and his infectious smile. His greatest gift was that of “socializing”. It did not matter where he was, he could find someone to engage in conversation. It was once asked by one of the grandchildren, “Is there anyone Papa does not know?” Bob worked most of his life driving trucks for construction companies, Wausau Papers and Groveton Paper Board. Bob formerly resided in North Stratford NH. Following his retirement, he became a “snowbird”. He spent his summers in Littleton NH at his daughter and son in laws, which became his “second home / campground”. Winters were spent in Zephyrhills FL. He loved FL. He could be found riding around on his golf cart and visiting with anyone that was available. Then the last couple years he resided full time in Bethlehem NH. Bob was born on March 22, 1944, in Holyoke, MA. He grew up in Littleton NH with his aunt and uncle, Bernice and Frank Caron. Bob was preceded in death by Bernice and Frank Caron, Marjorie (Harding) Caron, and sister Sandra Smith.

He is survived by his wife Judith Caron of Bethlehem NH, his daughters Kimberly and Nicole Caron of Henderson, NV and Kimberly Randall and husband Robert Randall of Littleton NH, and Jason Hart of Maryland. His grandchildren Ryan and wife Meg (Robinson) Hayward of Greenville SC and Ashley Hayward of Littleton NH along with three great-grandchildren, Owen, Ivee and Jase. Also, his sister Darlene Benson and husband Gary of Granby MA and brother Ray Smith of Cape Coral FL, as well as nieces and nephews. He also leaves some very close friends.

In honoring Bob’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. He will be buried in Guildhall VT.
