Ralph Porfido Obituary

Ralph Emilio Porfido 79 of Littleton, NH passed away suddenly on February 9, 2022, in Littleton NH.  Ralph was born on October 29, 1942, the son of Alphonse Porfido and Marjorie Webster Porfido.

Ralph graduated from Littleton High School and Berlin Technical College, (now the White Mountains Community College).  He served in the Littleton National Guard and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.   Ralph was a congregant of Saint Rose of Lima Church and the All Saints Episcopal Church. He worked in the Metropolitan areas of Boston and southern New Hampshire, as a Mechanical Draftsmen and Graphic Designer. He was a talented artist who produced beautiful drawings of the Churches that line the main street of Littleton and was once commissioned to paint a beautiful mural for an oriental restaurant.   In his youth, he had a vision of flying automobiles and drew a spec car.  Cars similar to his vision are now a reality.  He also enjoyed studying foreign languages and became quite fluent in many of them. Ralph enjoyed visiting the Littleton Senior Center, and the Littleton Public Library. He loved to dance and take long walks. Until just a few years ago, he greatly enjoyed his daily workouts at the local gym. Ralph was an intelligent and kind man. With a great sense of humor and a LOVE of life. He valued his privacy and always respected that of others.  He will be greatly missed by his sisters, brother-in-law, nieces, and nephews, and those who knew loved, and respected him.

Ralph was predeceased by his father Alphonse Porfido and his mother Marjorie Webster Porfido.  He is survived by his sisters Dorothy Porfido Wright and Stella Porfido Harris (David). Nieces Holly Wright Robinson and Jessica Harris Mirabella and Nephew Shane Harris. He was also the uncle to four great-nephews and one great-niece.

At Ralph's request, his services will be private and held at a later date. Donations may be made in memory of Ralph to Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 77 Clay Street, Littleton, All Saints Episcopal Church 35 School Street, Littleton, or the Littleton Senior Center, 55 Riverglen Lane, Littleton.
