Pearl E. Morancie, 80, of Whitefield passed away peacefully on February 24, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born in Barrington, Rhode Island, on January 3, 1942, to Dorothy (Pollard) Bouchard.
She worked in the manufacturing business throughout her life, finally retiring from Hitchner Manufacturing after 20 years. She took great pride in her work and was so good at her job that Hitchner Manufacturing presented her in a video showing how it was done.
On October 9, 1959, she married Albert Morancie Sr. and started their family. They were married for 40 years until his passing. Pearl loved to go camping in Maine, local campgrounds, and get together at the Fryeburg Fair with her family. She loved her flower garden and every year she would add a new flower to it. She took great enjoyment feeding and watching her hummingbirds. Pearl loved her puppy Gabby with all her heart. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She was predeceased by her mother Dorothy, her husband Albert Morancie Sr, a brother Walter Bouchard, a sister Joan Lamotte, and nephews.
She is survived by her longtime companion Dave Smith, Whitefield, daughter Theresa (James) Gooden, Whitefield, Albert (Christina) Morancie, Whitefield, three grandchildren, Christopher (Kara) Gooden, Whitefield, Brodie (Katie) Morancie, North Carolina, Brandon (Reina) Morancie, California, her sister Mary (Frank) McCullock, Lancaster, sister-in-law Shirley Bouchard, Groveton, brother-in-law Louis Lamotte, Lunenburg, VT, many nieces and nephews, and her precious puppy Gabby.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at the Park Street Cemetery, Whitefield, with Reverend Lyn Winter.
