Natalie Bernadette (McGrath) Shaw Obituary

Natalie Bernadette (McGrath) Shaw, 82, Lyman, died peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was born in Medford, MA, the daughter of the late Police Chief John C. McGrath and Clare (Murphy). Natalie lived in Medford, and Bourne, MA, prior to moving to Lyman in 2003. She was past regent and member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas – Court Bellfleur 1208, Littleton, member of the “Prayers for Life”, Medford, MA, and a member of the “Third Order of Mary” Marist. Natalie enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ice fishing was a favorite followed by a blazing fire so hot it would burn your face with roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. She was an amazing cook who make an entire meal out of six or seven different leftovers. She loved her family immensely and she and Frank will always be remembered as the “Love birds”. She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings, Marion Mclaughlin, Raphael J. McGrath, and her granddaughter Althea Rose Shaw.


She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Frank Shaw, her son Mark David Shaw and wife Kelly Lee, San Diego, CA, a granddaughter Breana L. Shaw, and sister C. Carmelita McGrath, Hyde Park, MA.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 21, 11:00, at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Littleton, with Father Ryan Amazeen officiating. A graveside service will immediately follow at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic cemetery.
