Michael Thomas Marcotte Gowitzke "Boosta, Bill, Mikey” 44, died suddenly on Friday, April 3, at his home, from a sudden cardiac event. He was born in Littleton, November 24, 1981, the son of Michael L. Marcotte and Kathy (Coffran) Gowitzke.

He attended local schools and spent much of his childhood with his brother Carl getting into many funny escapades, and playing pranks on their sisters Laura, Jennifer, and Amy.

He lived from Maine to Florida and always dreamed of going to Alaska.

He worked many years for White Mountain Cider Company before he found his dream job working at Walgreens Pharmacy in Fryeburg, Cornish, Bridgeton, ME and North Conway, NH. He enjoyed furthering his education by obtaining his Pharmacy Technician License.

Michael was the life of any gathering, always making everyone laugh and smile with his witty humor and big heart. He was an avid Patriots, Boston Bruins fan, and he loved Nascar racing.  

Michael was happiest when just spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed hosting holiday dinners, making snowmen with Brody and Greyson, hosting sleepovers with Anastasia and all her friends who thought “Uncle Mike” was the coolest! He could also often be found just taking long rides with Auntie Amy and his beloved K9 BFF, Mason, who he missed so much and is happily reunited. He was predeceased by his father Michael, and K9 buddy Mason feline friend Benz.

He leaves behind his loving family, parents Thomas and Kathy Gowitzke, sisters Laura Lucas and Nichole Walsh, and a brother Carl Marcotte, Aunts Benny Jesseman, Yvonne Fournier, Amy Edmunds, Karen Grammo, Uncle Leonard (Buddy) Marcotte, nieces Anastasia and Rosie, nephews Collin, Marshall, Weston, Brody, Greyson, Christopher and Matthew. Special friends Brandon & Danielle James, and Ritchie Wentworth. Pet kitty Bentley. 

Michael's celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 3,12:00 - 2:00PM, at The Ledge Barrel Room, 15 Town Hall Rd, Intervale, NH. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Michael's name to the Conway Area Humane Society, 223 E. Main St, Conway, NH 03818 https://conwayhumane.networkforgood.com
