Matthew Allen Robinette

Matthew Allen Robinette, 36, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 13. He was born on May 4, 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska to Eric and Kristen Robinette. Matt lived in Alaska until moving to New Hampshire in the summer of 2011. Matthew was a hunter, fisherman, artist, musician and avid outdoorsman. His immense love of the outdoors and mountains, was evident in his daily life where his adventuresome outdoorsman spirit thrived. His life was filled with ongoing hunting, fishing, boating and hiking expeditions, sometimes accompanied by his father, cousins, uncles, or close friends who shared his enthusiasm and love for the great outdoors, his kindred spirits. Matt’s first fishing experience in a front pack on his father’s chest at the tender age of four days old, was the beginning of a father-son life-long bond that was admired by many. Throughout the years they shared adventures, heartfelt talks and loving moments. Matt’s friends enjoyed listening to his stories, talking about what was on their minds, or just sitting around strumming and having jam sessions on their guitars. Matt’s capacity to love his family and friends was enormous. His soulful eyes, big heart, warm smile and sensitive spirit will be missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his mother Kristen Larsen, AK; son Jeremiah Robinette, AK; grandmothers Aloha Randolph, NH and Deanne Vegge, OR; grandfather Albert Larsen, OR; his brother Karl Larsen and sister Meteis Payne, AK; uncle Steven Larsen,AK; uncle Douglas Garfield and aunt Toy Garfield and cousin Dodge Garfield, NH; nephews Billy, Carter and Dysen Payne, AK; and many loving family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Eric Robinette, AK, November 5, 2002.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dutch Treat Restaurant in Franconia, Thursday, April 13 th from 5:30 – 7:30pm.
