Marion L. Hannan, 78, Harriman Road, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 31 at the Littleton Regional Healthcare. She was born in Salem, MA, the daughter of Frances and Lorraine (Howe) Johnson. She attended schools in Danvers, MA, Lowell, MA, and graduated from Lawrence High School. She met David in 1972 and they married May 28, 1974. Marion was a teacher in many ways. She taught in public schools, she taught children's bible studies and she loved teaching music. She enjoyed playing the piano. She was active in the Woman's Auxiliary, Post 41, American Legion in Whitefield. She was a very caring people person. She would reach out and assist anyone in need.
Marion leaves behind her loving husband David, her son Arthur Nolan, Bradford, NH, a daughter Susan Collins Thaine, Albion, NY, two nieces Cheryl Wilson and Sandra Dugan both of Allentown, NH, and her beloved dog Lola.
Services will be held Friday, April 9th, 1PM, at the Crossroads Church, Littleton. Donations may be made in Marion’s memory to the Crossroads building fund, 1091 Meadow Street, Littleton, NH, 03561.
