Maia Leigh (Williams) Bennett, 56, Littleton, died suddenly on Saturday, February 28.  She was born in Vienna, VA, the daughter of Brian and Marilyn (Fitzgerald) Williams. She was a graduate of James Buchanan High School, Mercersburg, PA. Maia lived in Annapolis, MD, Mercersburg, PA, before making her home in Littleton. She married Robert Bennett on July 20, 2003, at the All Saints Episcopal Church, Littleton.

As a child Maia enjoyed skiing, swimming, and playing with the family dogs (Shelties). As an adult Maia enjoyed shopping at the Little Red Wagon, crafting, and listening to music with Robert (her favorite band was Def Leppard). She also enjoyed fishing, watching NY Giants football, and spending time with Robert. Maia loved reading and studying her bible. She was a member of Littleton Bible Baptist Church. She was a highly respected and responsible worker. Everybody loved Maia and she will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her mother Marilyn, her sister and brother in-law Rachele and David, and her in-laws Walter and Fortunee Bennett.

She is survived by her husband Robert Bennett, Littleton, her father Brian Williams, Franconia, siblings Dawn Williams, Baltimore, MD, Kory Williams, Durango, CO, 10 nieces and nephews, and her brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Georgette Bennett. Maia had a very special, wonderful and warm loving committed life with Robert and others that she became friends with. With a special shout-out to Barbara Shimoda Bennett (David's) spouse for all her loving help with Maia and Robert.
