Macayla King Obituary

Macayla Desiree King, “Auntie Mac”, 26, of Dalton, died January 20, 2024. She was born on March 21, 1997, in Littleton, NH, the daughter of Christopher and Kimberly (Ash) King.  She attended Littleton public schools through junior high and graduated from Profile High School.  She was the title holder of Queen Beauty of Vermont, was the owner operator of Little Miss Moore Photography and gave much of her free time to Free Rein Rescue.

Macayla’s life was full of laughter, and she would light up every room she walked into.  She loved her family, her fur-babies, and her friends. She was the kind of person you could not help but love the first time you met her.  Her humor, smile and wit will forever be missed by all who knew her.

Macayla is predeceased by her grandfather, “Grampie” Walter Melcher; two cousins, Jeremy Regnier, and Morganne Knights-Pelletier.  Her partner of over eight years, Michael Bryant, died at her side.

Macayla is survived by her father, Christopher King of Bethlehem; her mother Kimberly (Ash) King of Littleton; paternal grandparents Charles and Jackie King of Bethlehem; maternal grandmother, Judy Ash of Littleton; “Gram” Jessie Mason of Dalton; sister Brianna Judd and her husband Travis of Littleton; nephew “side kick, baby love”, Luke Hiram; special friend, Lisa Grennon; as well as many loving, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be for Macayla and Michael on Saturday February 3, 2024, 10AM to Noon with a service at Noon with Reverend Lyn Winter, at the Ross Funeral Home, Littleton.  A graveside will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 10, at the Elks Lodge with dinner and raffles from 5-7 PM and music from 7-10 PM.
