Linda Mackinnon Obituary

Linda (Parker) MacKinnon of Littleton, NH passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on October 18th, 2024. Linda was born on March 26, 1948 to Leonard and Arlene (Parrish) Parker in Colebrook, NH. She was the oldest of 5 siblings. Linda graduated from Colebrook Academy and promptly married Ronald (Ronny) MacKinnon. She had been known to say that she picked up her diploma in her wedding dress. 

Linda was an avid bird watcher and animal lover. She enjoyed feeding her humming bird, orioles, crows, and watching all the birds on the river. She and Ronny had many pets, and Linda contributed to charitable organizations with the mission of helping the animals she was passionate about. 

Linda’s favorite titles were those of mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Happy Camper. Linda is survived by her husband, Ronald MacKinnon, dog Harley, her children; Stacey Labonte of North Haverhill, Roderick MacKinnon of Goffstown, and Eric (Angela) MacKinnon of Bethlehem, her grandchildren; Alex MacKinnon, Brodie (Kelsey) Labonte, Lyndsey (Jared) Avery, Jillyan Chace, Payton MacKinnon, Alex Boomhower, Myles MacKinnon, Cameron MacKinnon, siblings; Cheryl (Jerry) Lentz, and Ronald (Marie) Parker, her great-grandchildren; Olivia, Saoirse, and Yvonne, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Arlene, her brother Billy Parker, and sister Cindy Chase. 

She will be greatly missed by her family, her neighbors and her friends, especially the Happy Campers. 

Per Linda's wishes there will be no public service. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to North Country Home Health and Hospice Agency.
