Joyce Ann (Parent) Randall, 82 of Lisbon, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 4th, 2022. She was born on April 30th, 1940, in Lisbon, New Hampshire to Mary (Chase) Parent and Fred L. Parent, alongside her siblings Charlotte Derosia, Gary Parent, and Sally Steele. Joyce was beloved by everyone. She radiated a lighthearted and graceful demeanor which left an everlasting impression to all that crossed her path. After graduating high school in 1958, she met and fell in love with her husband and life partner of sixty-seven years, Robert Richard Randall. Soon after, she started employment at a telephone company before transitioning to a stay-at-home mother in order to raise her three children; Danny Randall, Mary (Jay) McDonald, and Lisa (Chad) Romprey. Joyce excelled at being the central figure in all their lives. She was a star to guide them in the direction of compassion, empathy, and patience through all life's trials and tribulations. These lessons were unwavering. Throughout her years, Joyce never drifted from the belief that love is the guiding path to a life well spent. She was too pure for this world and held a temperament and kindness that couldn’t be found amongst a hundred million others. When our lives would get dark, Joyce was the sun; a beam of light that could put a smile on the face of anyone having their worst of days. She was an inspiration of hope. A lifetime of her kindness couldn’t be summed up in thousands of paragraphs, let alone just one. Joyce is survived by her husband, two daughters; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, Danny. We will always cherish the mark she’s left on our souls.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 9, 11:00 AM, at the Landaff Cemetery for Joyce and Robert.
