Obituary

Jose “Joe” Azevedo, 61, of Littleton passed away on October 31th from natural causes. Joe was born on June 4, 1961 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Antonio and Maria Azevedo. Joe called Littleton home where he would walk to visit his mother, dine at all of the local restaurants, and grab coffee at Dunkin Donuts. He enjoyed learning and practicing karate, playing his guitar, listening to music, and drinking diet soda. He cared about and was always so proud of his nieces. He always kept in touch with family in Connecticut, and Canada. Joe is predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Maria Azevedo, brother Manuel “Manny” Azevedo, and sister Maria Conceicoa.

Joe is survived by his brother Antonio “Tony” Santos, sister Connie Santos, nieces Leslie (Santos) Terra, Sheila Costa-Hibbard, Katerina Sourgiadakis, Sofia Sourgiadakis, five great-nieces, and three great-nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with his mother Maria on Tuesday, January 17, 10:00, at the St. Rose of Lima Church followed by burial at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
