Joanne Greene Obituary

Joanne I Greene (Jo) of Littleton NH passed away at home on Monday July 27th with her family by her side.

Joanne grew up in North Andover Massachusetts where she lived with her parents Edward and Irene and her brother Jimmy Greene.

She attended Johnson High School in North Andover and was the captain of her basketball team. Joanne was known for her stunning beauty not only outside but inside! Jo had a way of showing kindness and love that was a real gift to those who really knew her.

Joanne married Raymond S. La Rosa in the late 50’s, they resided in Andover MA, they had four children together, Robin, Bobby, Betty Ann and Scott. Joanne and Raymond were also blessed with four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Later in life Joanne found her soul mate Bertrand Legendre. They shared many years of happiness together with there beloved cat ‘CHIP PURRRR’.

In 2007 Joanne moved north to Littleton NH where she lived out the remainder of her life with her daughter Betty Ann and her son in law ‘’Jed” Birch.

Jo attended Saint Rose of Lima church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas. Some of Joanne’s interests and likes included reading, crafts, puzzles and York Peppermint Patties.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 3rd at Saint Rose if Lima at 11:00 AM, with Father Mark Dollard Officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
