Joan Houghton Zieniewicz

Beloved Joan Houghton Zieniewicz with family by her side passed away peacefully July 8, 2025. Joan was a registered nurse for over 40 years, married to Stephen Zieniewicz retired New York City Fireman (deceased 2016) has three lovely children Joan, Stephen (m. Linda) and Lisa (m. Kevin) and two beautiful grandchildren Wynn and Kaitlin.

Joan will be waked at New Hyde Park Funeral Home, New Hyde Park, NY on Wednesday July 16, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 19, 10:00AM, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Twin Mountain, with Father Zevier Arockiam officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Margaret's Catholic Cemetery, Twin Mountain, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Stephen.
