Irene Anna (Wright) Gillery

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Irene Gillery (Wright), 75, who left our world on June 28th, 2024. In her final days she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren at her home in Twin Mountain. Irene was born in Montpelier, Vermont in February of 1949. She spent her beginning years in Montpelier growing up with her five siblings Terry, David, Reggie, Sylvia and Dora. They moved to Littleton to be closer to their Champagne family and Irene grew up with many cousins, aunts and uncles. Family was everything to Irene. She married her love, Earl Gillery on October 26, 1985. They spent many of their years together in Florida, before family brought Irene back to NH in 1999. This would be where she and Earl would buy their home and settle, watching their family grow. Her grandkids filled her world and she loved wholeheartedly. Her strength and love for family led her through any difficulty she would face. She will be deeply missed by her children. She was predeceased by her parents, Mildred Wright (Champagne) and Elden Wright. Her brother Terry Wright and sister Sylvia Wright.

She is survived by Wendy Mersch (Frank), Shawn Wright (Jenn), Keith Wright, Jessica Gillery and Felicia Heard. Her grandchildren, Connor Mersch, Kyleigh Heard (Joey Casey), Tyler Mersch (Allison Carey), Kyah Knight and Kyle Knight, her siblings Reggie Wright, Dora Beard, David Wright, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
