Holly Ricci of Littleton NH, 80, died on February 19, 2025 after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Barry Duval and owner and sole proprietor of Jackson Corner Casuals
on Main Street in Littleton for over 27 years.
Holly was fiercely independent and did things in her own free-spirited way. She was a queen of two castles. Going up the steps to that hippie store on the corner of Jackson and Main St you would hear rock music playing and be greeted by her friendly smile as you opened the door. A good day in the store kept her smiling for days. What constituted a good day? A “regular” dropping in, selling the perfect outfit, unpacking a new shipment of clothes, sketching on a stack of shopping bags, or receiving phone calls from each of her kids! She loved it all! On a perfect summer day she would soak up the sun at the back stairs, sometimes with company, until Jeopardy started. Barry knew how much she loved the house and if she noticed something needed fixing or creating, he did it. Together they made it home. Christmas was always at her house and festive with the family together. She loved day trips to Maine for lobster rolls or early morning yard sales. She couldn’t imagine herself living anywhere else and luckily didn’t have to.
She was born Holly Ann West on August 17, 1944 to Dorothy and Edward West of Plymouth, MA. At eighteen she married the late James Ferron of Dill City OK and they later divorced. In the 1980’s she was briefly married to Daniel Ricci. The one thing she kept from that marriage was a last name that she liked! Before relocating to Littleton in 1985 Holly was a Customer Service Rep at Tech-Etch in Plymouth MA for seven years.
Holly leaves behind her 4 children, Wendy (husband Russ) Keeler of Rochester MA, Michael Ferron of Williford AR, Francine (husband Jim) Farrar of Perkinsville VT, and Tracie Ferron (daughter Tia) of Littleton. She also leaves behind her sister Janet Vieu of Carver MA and was predeceased by her brother Edward West of Waterville ME. She also leaves behind her beloved canine companion Drake. Aside from Tia, Holly had 6 other grandchildren, Andrew Bartz (of Bethlehem), Emma and Howard Keeler, and James, Sherico, and Jasper Ferron. She also had two step-grandchildren, Alyssa Jackson and Jessi Farrar.
There will be visiting hours at Ross Funeral Home in Littleton on Friday March 21st from 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to Above the Notch Humane Society, PO Box 98 Franconia, NH 03580.
