HANNELORE “HANNA” DONECKER STATKUM, 87, died on Monday, June 27, at the Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster. She was born in 1935 in Wiesbaden, Germany, the daughter of Willi Donecker & Emmy Seidenstucker. She was educated through grade 9 and self-taught herself to speak, read, and write English. She married in Wiesbaden, Germany, on December 17. 1955 to Charles Statkum (USAF). Her husband served in the USAF for 25 years which allowed her to live in various locations including Burlington, VT, Aurora, CO, Stephenville, Newfoundland, Marysville, CA, Grand Forks, ND, and after retirement, they settled in Whitefield, NH. She worked as a sales clerk for the Globe for 20 years. She loved to bowl, garden, and play cards with her favorite being Cribbage. She was predeceased by her husband Charles on January 21, 1991.

She is survived by her children Johannette Dozier and husband Warner of Auberry, CA, Walter Statkum and wife Brenda, of Athens, GA, a grandson Warner T. Dozier, wife Sarah, great-grandchildren Warner C. and Shelby Dozier.

Services will be held privately.
