Frances Elaine (Farr) Lavoie

Frances Elaine (Farr) Lavoie of Littleton NH passed away Monday July 31, peacefully and in the comforting presence of family and loved ones. Her family and friends were her greatest sources of joy, but Fran also loved to sing for church and community and had great fun performing in local theater productions. Her spirit of giving was seen in the work she did helping students at the College for Lifelong Learning or guiding visitors at the Frost Farm in Franconia. She was rarely seen without a book in front of her or a crossword nearby. But nothing compared to the joy and pleasure she felt setting out in her kayak and floating on the open water.

She is survived by former husband and cherished friend Leo, and her five children Leo, Anthony, Peter, Christopher, and Matthew, along with an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Shoreham VT, Fran is predeceased by her parents Eugene and Beatrice, brother David, and grandson Peter David.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 11th at 11:00am at St. Rose of Lima Church in Littleton with Father Ryan Amazeen officiating, followed by burial at St. Rose of Lima cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr Suite 210, Bedford, NH 03110 or https://www.cancer.org/
