Edward Gordon Martin Jr.

Edward Gordon Martin Jr., 63 of Littleton, NH died at home surrounded by his family and his beloved pet Roxy on 01/05/24, after brief illness. He was born on December 03, 1960 in Manchester, NH to Edward Gordon Martin Sr. and Joanne Charlotte (Cynkus) Martin.  

He attended Lebanon High School, Lebanon, NH and during that time he enjoyed playing the game of football, earning the MVP player in 1979. Upon his graduation he enlisted into the United States Army and when he was honorably discharged, were he made Littleton his home. In 1984 he established Martin’s Cleaning Service in which he operated until his retirement in 2022.  

When Ed was not working, he prioritized spending time with family and staying connected with his childhood friends. He enjoyed hunting and he was an avid artist using many mediums, as well as passion for finding the next antique treasure. Ed looked at his home as his castle and spent many years making improvements to the outside landscape of his property.  He was also known for his big heart and compassionate spirit. Ed is predeceased by his parents, his sister Kathy Greene Thibodeau and his son Edward G. Martin III.

Ed is survived by his wife, Claudette M. Martin, Littleton NH, daughter Amanda Martin Eccleston, Littleton NH, brother Scott Martin and his wife Cindy Martin of Concord, VT, his sister Sherry Martin Mascovitz and her husband Michael of Saugus MA, his loving grandchildren Weston, Jackson, and Olivia as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A friends and family gathering will take place on Saturday, January 27, from 10-12 PM at the Ross Funeral Home. A Celebration of life follow at 12 PM with Reverend Lyn Winter officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Glenwood Cemetery. Donations may be made in Ed's memory to Veterans to Veterans Group, PO Box 1003 Littleton, NH 03561
