Deborah Daigle Obituary

Deborah Ann Daigle (Bubby) was born on March 31, 1949 to Joanne and Paul Daigle Sr. of Gorham NH.  She danced away from the suffering of Alzheimer's in the early morning hours of
9/11/25.

Bubby’s passing has created a gaping hole in the lives of many that were once filled with inappropriate humor, containers of Flarp, and belly laughs that would cause tears to stream down faces. She loved Larry the Cable Guy, slot machines and chocolate. Even when she was sad or hurting, she would use humor to lighten the load of others.  Everyone that knew Bubby loved her and she LOVED to make people laugh/smile.  In her final year at the Country Village Nursing home, she was still working to put a smile on people’s faces.

Bubby was a mom to Susu and Joanne and the most amazing grandmother to Imani, Isabella, Cole and Callie. She was a daughter, a sister, a friend, a teacher and a nurturer.  One of her great joys in life was having been the Director of the Lisbon Children’s Center where she impacted the lives of young children for 27 years.  She put her heart and soul into the children and families she served there.

Some of Bubby’s fondest memories were with her family and her friends Vaughn and Glo. Every year she did family outings to Santa’s Village with her grandkids until she no longer could. Bubby was crushed when Vaughn passed, but we like to think she and Vaughn are together again squeezing cans of Flarp as others float by in heaven and then looking at each other like they have no idea how that happened.  She is playing the slots and listening to the Barry Manilow or Earth Wind and Fire album that would make her kids duck down in the car so no one would associate them with that music.

Bubby had great plans for what she would do when she won the lottery and it did not surprise any of us that it included creating funds for children who might be in need in Lisbon NH (her home for over 30 years).  She did not “hit the big six” but her family would ask that in lieu of flowers you might consider a donation to the Lisbon School in her name.  Any donations should be forwarded to the Lisbon Regional School, Attn: Deborah Daigle Memorial School Lunch Fund 25 Highland Ave, Lisbon NH, 03585

Joanne and Susu would like to thank the Country Village Nursing home for caring for Bubby when they no longer could.  We especially want to thank Steph whose presence and loving nature gave us peace and put a smile on Bubby’s face.

A Celebration of Life will be held on 9/27/25 at the Pavillion at Remich Park,165 Pleasant Street, Littleton NH, 03561 from 3-5 PM.  Please come and share your stories and memories.

Cheers to all that you were and all that you did Bubby.  We love you to infinity and beyond and will miss you always.
