David G. Dixon Obituary

“Dangerous Dave” departed this world for his ultimate adventure on Feb. 9, 2026. His big heart failed him after battling with congestive heart failure. David grew up in Littleton, NH, graduating from LHS in 1980. He later attended Paul Smith’s College in NY receiving a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1986.


Throughout his formative years Dave participated in band, choir, drama clubs, musicals, swimming, and ski teams at both LHS and PSC.


Additional adventures included: cliff diving, hiking, kayaking, fishing, sky-diving, golfing, Loonatics ski racing, and visiting Maine with his “Sweeti” to name a few. David entertained various guests and employers throughout his careers in the hospitality & ski industry. He was most noted for his quick wit and charm! David is predeceased by his mother, Georgia Dixon of Littleton, NH, brother, William Dixon of Littleton, NH, grandmother, Rita McAvoy of Littleton, NH, grandfather, George McAvoy of Littleton, NH,  uncle, Frank Lord of Hartford, CT.


David is survived by his father, Richard Dixon (Cindy Byno) of Palmetto, FL, aunt, Suzanne Hopgood of Littleton, NH, sisters, Linda Labarge of Keene, NY, Cheryl McAfee (Phil McAfee) of Ellsworth, NH, niece, Lindsay Fernandez of Queensbury, NY, nephew, Ryan McAfee of Warren, NH, niece, Kate McAfee (Dan Lambert) of Waterboro, ME, great nephew & great niece, Tripp &  Piper Fernandez of Queensbury, NY, co-conspirator and other brother, Stanley Parker of Littleton, NH, and longtime girlfriend and angel on earth, Emelita Steier of Brooklyn, NY.


A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 13, from 12-2 PM, at Remich Park Pavillion, Littleton. Please bring your stories of David to share.
