Obituary

Danny Gene Kakwirahkeron Dailleboust died unexpectedly at his home on January 13, 2023, where he resided with his sister and brother-in-law in Littleton NH, at the young age of 27 years old. Danny was born on December 3, 1995, in Littleton NH and grew up in Franconia and then moved to Lisbon until 2008. He moved to Burlington, VT with his mother where he then graduated from BHS in 2014. After graduation Dan, his mother, and 2 of his brothers all moved back to Littleton. Dan held his family in especially close regard, specifically his older sister and 4 younger brothers. A major of their family growing up, and Dan’s overall life, was going to pow wows and learning about their Native American culture from his paternal side. Danny took every opportunity he could to learn about his Native American Heritage and his Mohawk heritage. In 2017 Dan had the chance to live where his paternal ancestors were from, a Native American reservation in Quebec outside of Montreal, called Kahnawake. He has some family that still lives up there. Dan lived there for 5 years, learning as much of the Mohawk language, traditions, craft, and lifestyle as he could. It was one of the most influential parts of his life and truly made him happy to be dressed in full traditional regalia and dancing and drumming at as many pow wows as he could possibly attend each year. He was always volunteering and helping in the community any way he could with the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake and the Elders. Danny moved back to New Hampshire with his sister in 2022, he was saving for a vehicle and had plans to start a landscaping business. He also dreamed of building his own house one day. He worked at Lowes where he was greatly admired as a coworker and employee, he had many regular customers who preferred services from Dan when they went there. He was a hardworking, loving, and gentle soul who was always expected to crack a joke or say something sarcastic. He loved fishing, hunting, having campfires and BBQ’s, he loved nature and to be outside going for walks and most of all he loved the Boston Bruins and watching hockey. He is predeceased by his Grandmother Alyce Dailleboust and Grandfather Danny Dailleboust.

Danny has two beautiful children he loved with all his heart and soul. His 7-year-old daughter Aubrianna Faith Kaniehtiio Reilly-Dailleboust and 3-year-old son River Tioherote Dailleboust. Aubrey lives here in NH with her mother Cait Reilly and River lives in Kahnawake, Quebec Canada with his mother Sunshine Deer. It was most important for his children to know the endless love he would always have for them. Danny is survived by both is Mother and Father, Joe Dailleboust and Heather Mudgett and significant others Gina Russo and Keith Gillilan. His sister Emily Dailleboust, and her fiancé Jaimie DAlessandro. His 4 brothers Dakota Dailleboust, Louis Dailleboust, Jacob Marshall and Christopher Marshall. His children Aubrey and River. Uncle Derek Dailleboust. Grandmother Sharon Mudgett. 6 nieces and nephews and many other cousins’ aunts and uncles.
