Carroll Richard Brunelle, 69, Lehan Road, Bethlehem, died Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Littleton Regional Hospital. He was born in Stafford, CT, the son of Richard Willard and Joyce May (Edwards) Brunelle. He served in the US Marine Corps. He married his wife Jessie (Wright) at the Methodist Church in Littleton on February 27, 1975. He worked for Lisbon Wire Mill, Montgomery Wire, and drove trucks and plowed for Casella and Littleton DOT. He was very much an outdoor person and was often referred to as a true Mountain Man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, four wheeling, skeet shooting, camping, motorcycle riding and racing. In his younger days he was considered a cowboy who loved to drag race and have a good time. He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Joyce, Kenneth Hook, great grandparents Etta and Cecil Wheeler, great grandmother Bessie Hickey.
He is survived by his wife Jessie (Wright) Brunelle, his children Richard Willard Brunelle and wife Jen Dye, Rebecca Louis Brunelle and husband Thomas Owen, Siblings Cregg E. Brunelle, Christine J. and husband John McGuigan, Gordon and wife Wanda Hook, Richard Hook, Valerie and husband Danny Wright, grandchildren Angelina Payton Owen, Ariena Alita Owen, and Elijah John Owen, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, November 23, 11:00, at Glenwood Cemetery, Littleton.
