Cameron Bruce Matthews

Cameron Bruce Matthews passed away on August 14th, 2022 at 12:15 am in his home in Whitfield. His final moments were peaceful and he was surrounded by his family and loved ones. Son of William Matthews and Carol Marshall, brother to Kenny, Dan, Robin, Brent, and Chris Matthews. He is survived by his children Clay Matthews and Hannah Angeline, and his grandchildren Winter and Tristen, all of which he was so proud to love. 

He was a great man who possessed unwavering strength and loyalty. His passion for joy, that twinkle in his eye, his sly all-knowing grin, and infectious belly laugh will be missed more than one can possibly understand. He had an unorthodox way of approaching the world, but the stark realism and profound truth he brought with him everywhere he went, is something the world needs more of. He leaves a legacy of love and joy that cannot be measured in words.“Therefore you too have grief now, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
