Branden Cooper Obituary

Branden Ripley Cooper, 50, of San Antonio, Tx, died suddenly on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Born April 11, 1971 in Winchester, MA, the son of Diane Dube Lindblade and George W. Cooper II. The family moved to Littleton when Branden was 4 months old, where he was called Brandy. He spent much of his childhood in and around Sugar Hill and Bellows Falls, VT. Branden gained a very special sister in 1980. Lori J. Larue joined the family when she was 15 years old. His mother married John R. Lindblade in 1983 whom Branden loved and emulated. He was blessed with his brother Timothy J. Lindblade in 1985 with a difference in ages which never interfered with their amazing closeness.

Branden attended The Carolina Crapo School in Sugar Hill and The Grammar School in Putney, VT. He graduated from Cardigan Mountain School in Caanan, NH with the class of 1986, and from Profile High School class of 1989. He furthered his education with both undergraduate and graduate degrees, Magna Cum Laude, in Communication & Information Systems from Robert Morris University in Pittsburg, PA.

Branden joined the US Army in 1992 and trained at Ft. McClellan, AL. He was stationed at Ft. Mead, MD, in Korea, and at Ft. Jackson, SC during his Military Police career. He retired in 1998 and took great pride in his military service.

Branden married Amy Freivolt in 1999 and started their family in Littleton, NH with his first child, Seth Ayden Cooper in 2000. Shortly thereafter they moved to be near her family in Pittsburgh, PA where he lived for 19 years. While in Pittsburgh, he worked for the Pittsburgh Police Dept. and Verizon Wireless where he was an Associate Director. When Verizon closed in Pittsburgh he signed on with CVS Health where he was the call center Manager in Monroeville, PA.

Branden married Stacey Dodds in 2007 and his family grew to include Masen James 2008, Maddalen Ann 2010, Maximilien Ripley 2012, and Maegen Nicole 2014. The family moved to San Antonio, TX in 2018. where he was a Senior Manager for a Wellness Company.

Branden was loved by many all over the world. Following his very sudden, unexpected death, besides his immediate family, he leaves his mother, father, brother, and sister. His family includes aunts and uncles Nancy and Jeff Burgess, Nancy Jones and Bruce Wallingford, Leslie Schleis, and the late Ann Foster. Cousins Kirk and Ann Maraglia, Lisa Zazcek, and Robin Jones. His grandparents were the late Mr. & Mrs. Bertram Dube of Sugar Hill, NH, Mr. George Cooper of Manchester, MA, and Mrs. Russell Munro of Beverly, MA. His in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dodds and Mr.& Mrs. Justin Dodds of Pittsburgh PA.

A memorial gathering will take place in June in Sugar Hill.
