Beverly Ann (Heathe) Presby

Beverly Ann (Heathe) Presby, 73, a longtime resident of Lyman, NH, and wife of Selectman Bo Presby, passed away on Christmas Eve at the Lafayette Healthcare Center, Franconia, NH, due to complications of diabetes. Beverly was born July 4, 1951, in Bethel, ME, the daughter of Claude and Ruth Heathe. She was the youngest of seven children. When her parents died, Bev, as a young teen moved to Lisbon, NH, and resided with her brother and sister in-law Kenny and Emily Heathe.

She attended Lisbon School and in 1969 she married Milton Bo Presby of Lyman. They had two children, Dawn and Bruce. Sadly, Dawn pre-deceased her mother in 2011.

Bev was always a kind, friendly, hard-working woman who had been employed at Lisbon Shoes. She also lit the grill at Littleton MacDonald’s and made breakfast for 14 years. She found satisfaction in her career as an LNA at Country Village, Grafton County Nursing Home, Lafayette Healthcare and Littleton Regional Hospital.

After retirement she enjoyed working with the girls in the kitchen at the Littleton Senior Center. Bev liked to spend time with her grandchildren, collecting cookbooks, yard sales, knitting, trips to Maine, her hummingbird feeders, and always having a beloved Chihuahua companion. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Frank, Kenny, John, Tommy, and sisters Roberta and Joan.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Milton Bo Presby, her son and daughter in-law Bruce and Angie, four granddaughters, six great grandchildren, her sister in-laws Mabel Mackie, Mary Pinkham, and Emily Heathe. She will be missed by all.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 1:00PM, at the  Grove Hill Cemetery, Lisbon, NH, with Pastor Pamela Smith officiating. Donations may be made in her memory to the Littleton Senior Center, 77 Riverglen Lane P.O. Box 98, Littleton, NH 03561
