April Champagne Obituary

April Champagne of Littleton, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2025, at the age of 43. April was a warm, generous spirit who filled every room she entered with laughter, love, and light. She dedicated her life to spreading kindness wherever she could, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Born on June 26, 1981, April lived a life grounded in love, adventure, and creativity. She worked for many years in the culinary world, often as a chef. Though she once dreamed of leading a professional kitchen, she poured her passion for cooking into her home. Her meals brought family and friends together, each dish seasoned with love and the joy of giving. April also spent years working in various factory jobs, always known for her hard work and dedication until health challenges made it difficult in later years.

A nature lover through and through, April found joy in the simplest of moments: watching sunsets over the ocean, walking barefoot along the beach, or sitting by a quiet lake with a book in hand. Whether camping under the stars, fishing on a calm morning, or feeling the cool rain on her face, she was deeply connected to the world around her. She especially cherished spontaneous adventures, from road trips with the music up loud and the windows down to unplanned overnight getaways.

April's laugh was contagious, her hugs comforting, and her imagination vivid. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and a loyal partner. She treasured her time with family, especially with her daughter Tricia Fysh and her granddaughter Ashlyn Fysh, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Tricia Fysh; her granddaughter, Ashlyn Fysh; her loving fiancé, Rob Lucas; her sister, Melody Champagne; her brother, Frank Champagne Jr.; and her grandmother, Mary Champagne (Wigget). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and beloved pets, including a dog, a cat, and a turtle, who were cherished members of her family.

April was predeceased by her mother, Heidi Champagne (Unsworth), and her father, Frank Champagne Sr. She faced past health battles, including breast cancer, with strength and grace, and continued to show courage in the face of ongoing medical challenges.

A memorial service to celebrate April’s life will be held at a later date. In the meantime, her family invites those who knew and loved her to remember April by embracing the small joys, holding loved ones close, and never hesitating to take the scenic route.
