Alfred Lloyd Simensen, 84, passed away at his home in North Woodstock, NH, on Monday, May 20, 2024. He was born on March 22, 1940 and grew up in Wakefield MA.He was the beloved husband to Diane Bradford Simensen, brother to Arthur Simensen and son of John and Marjorie Milley Simensen who are all previously deceased. Al married his high school sweetheart, Diane, in a double ring ceremony at the First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield, MA on October 1, 1960. Al's work brought him all over the country and Diane followed with their two children. Al succeeded for more than 35 years in the field of high-tech international business. He developed an extensive background and understanding in the formation of international channels to grow many operations. Al loved traveling with his wife Diane. Together they visited 54 countries. They then settled in to the couples home in North Woodstock to be closer to the ski mountains they both enjoyed.
Al is survived by a son Erik Simensen of North Woodstock; a daughter, Kari Simensen Roberts of Tucker, GA; three grandchildren, Spencer Roberts and his wife Malley, Grace Simensen, and Skyler Roberts; a great-granddaughter, Blakely Ann Roberts; and many close friends.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
