In 1996 she started her career as a high school English Teacher at Concord School in Concord, VT where she remained until her retirement. She was very highly respected and dearly loved by her students, peers, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Robert V. Weaver, mother Edna Weaver, sister Kay Spencer Fassnacht and her beloved daughter Sarah Verena Flynn.

Friends are finding a loving home for her beloved cats Chance and Chase.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes will be taken to her husband in Ireland where she will spend eternity with her daughter and, eventually, her husband.
