Roy Ai Fulford Jr.

December 9, 1948 ~ March 16, 2017 (age 68) 68 Years Old

 Roy “Butch” Ai Fulford Jr, Littleton NH, loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend Roy was born on December 9, 1948 at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville NH to Roy Ai Fulford Sr. and Hattie M (Kahlstrom) Fulford. He died Thursday March 16, 2017 at The Littleton Regional Healthcare after fighting C.O.P.D and Empasima for many years.

 

Roy attended Lisbon Regional Schools and earned his GED. He joined the Navy on Feb.8, 1968 where he was a SeaBee until Feb.7,1974. He joined the Army National Guard Nov.22,1978 until Nov.21,1985. In addition to his military service Roy was an Auxiliary Police Officer for Littleton, a correctional officer for the State of Vermont Department of Corrections in Saint Johnsbury VT for 23 years. After retiring he worked at Walmart for 4 years. Roy so easy to talk to he made friends everywhere he went. He had many hobbies and interests over the years but really enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on his genealogy tree, traveling, woodworking, reading the bible, and spending time with his family.

 

Roy is survived by his wife Jane A ( Krupski) Fulford. They were together for 25 years and married for 20 years on December 28, 1996, a daughter, Amy Hicks and her husband Chris, and her children Kyle and Connor Hicks, a son, Robert Fulford, a daughter, Crystal Hodgdon, and her children Jacy McAlpin and Keltric Hodgdon, a son George McAlpin III, his mother Hattie Fulford, a sister Barbra Drapeau and her husband Russell, and nieces and nephews, Micheal & Tonya Smith and children, Thomas & Chrissy Smith and children, Matthew & Lee Smith and children, Candy & Roger Thorton and children, and and his fur-babies Shadow and Foxy Lady. He was predeceased by his Father Roy Ai Fulford (1991) and fur-baby, Tigger.

 

There will be a Celebration of Roy’s Life on March 27, 2017 at 1PM at Ross Funeral Home, 282 West Main St. Littleton, NH, followed by interment at Glenwood Cemetery.

 

The family wishes to Thank: Dr. Richard Bailey you are a great doctor and thank you for being there for Roy and his family but even more so how great you were with Keltric when he was there, nurses, and family support at the Weeks Medical Hospital Lancaster NH, Dr. Green & Dr. Goldburg, nurses, and family support at Littleton Regional Healthcare as well as the many friends and family of Roy A. Fulford Jr.
