Welcome to the memorial page for

Peter A LaFoe

November 3, 1959 ~ October 16, 2017 (age 57) 57 Years Old

Peter A. LaFoe Jr. 57, Berlin, died at home on Monday October 16, 2017 after a period of failing health. He was born on November 3, 1959 in Woodsville, NH to Peter and Judith (Priest) LaFoe. Peter was raised in Wells River, VT and Littleton, NH attending local schools. As a child Peter was his fathers “right hand man”. They did everything together, and he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his Dad. Peter Sr’s untimely death in 1974 marked a changing point in Peter’s life. He always had a good heart, but for many years he had a hard time finding the right path. This all changed in 2007, when his daughter, Prudence, came into his life. She became his “right hand girl” and they did everything together. Peter set positive goals for himself and would work hard to meet each goal he set. He worked for himself as a handyman and with his sister Bridet, helping out at her families business for as long as his health allowed. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and spending time in the outdoors.

Peter is survived by his mother, Judy Mathers of Belmont, his wife Tabby LaFoe, daughter Prudence, and step children, Isaac, Tyler, and Erica, a brother Greg LaFoe of Belmont, two sisters Tammy Arpin of Arizona, and Bridget Parent and her husband David of Wentworth Location, aunts Jean Melino, Elizabeth Rial of Tennessee, and Fonda Beard of Lincoln, NH, an uncle, Dexter Priest of Tennessee, best friend Richard Knight, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends and family will gather at the Eagles Club #1464, 8 Green Sq, Berlin, NH on Saturday October 21 from 11-2 to share memories and food (potluck). Burial will take place on Friday October 27, at 11AM at Pine Grove Cemetery, Swiftwater Rd, Woodsville, NH. In lieu of flowers those who wish are asked to make contributions to Peter’s final expenses using the donate tab above.
