Margaret Ann (Beard) Lenahan

Margaret Ann Lenahan “Margie”, 72 years old, passed away on April 24, 2019, in Littleton, N.H. She was born in Orange, N.J., and spent the following 25 years in Lakewood, N.J., before moving to Vermont. She eventually moved to Littleton where she lived until her death.

She is survived by her sons Michael Lenahan, St. Johnsbury, Vt., and Joe Lenahan, and his wife Pam of Barre, Vt.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was employed at Lowe’s in Littleton. She enjoyed working there and made many friends with co-workers and customers.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life and soul mate, Patrick Michael Lenahan “Mike”, her parents Madelyn and Harley Beard, sister Suzanne Beard, and brother Robert Beard.

Margie had many beautiful qualities. She was a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother, thoughtful sister and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was generous, compassionate and very funny. After spending just a few minutes in her presence you would find yourself laughing and smiling. Her kind and loving heart will be missed but always remembered.

A celebration of Margie’s life will be held at the Elk’s club, 118 Western Avenue, St. Johnsbury, Vt., on Thursday, May 2, at 2 p.m.
