Manuel "Manny” Azevedo, 63, of Littleton had an untimely death after a period of failing health on Thursday, January 25, 2018. Manny was born in Horta, Azores in Portugal on April 3rd, 1954 to Antonio and Maria Arminda. He grew up with his siblings Antonio "Tony", Jose and Connie in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Manny then moved with his family to Canada and made his way back to Brazil to meet and marry Theresa Goulart de Silva. He then made his home in Littleton. He became an Uncle to Leslie, Sheila, Katerina and Sofia. He cared deeply for his family, teaching his nieces how to roller blade, bringing them to the park each day and teaching them how to drive a car. He was always helping his family around the house or taking them on long road trips. Manny enjoyed riding his motorcycle with this brother Tony, drinking orange soda and was always offering a helping hand to his family and friends. Every Friday morning he was seen delivering lunch for Gold House Pizza and always made sure to bring home a pizza to his parents and enjoyed eating lunch with them. Manny worked at Burndy in Littleton and considered his coworkers as friends.
Manny is survived by his wife, Theresa Goulart de Silva of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, his parents Antonio Santos Azevedo and Maria Arminda (Goulart) Azevedo of Littleton, his siblings Antonio Santos of Groveton, Jose Azevedo of Littleton and Connie Santos of Winterville, NC, his nieces Leslie (Santos) Terra, Sheila Costa-Hibbard, Katerina and Sofia Sourgiadakis and five great-nieces and a great-nephew.
A memorial mass will be celeberated at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, High St. Littleton, NH on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11AM. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery followed by a reception at the American Legion in Littleton. All who knew Manny are welcome to attend.
