Luis M Vega

Luis M. Vega Perez, 61, Bethlehem, NH, passed away July 10 2017 at his home. He was born on November 26, 1955 in Aguadilla PR to Manuel and Emma Perez Vega, one of 4 boys.

Luis left Puerto Rico and lived in a few other states before he made a life at the Mt. Washington Resort. He worked many different jobs at the resort, most recently he worked in the maintenance department. He retired after living and working at the resort for 30 years. Luis missed his daily routine and seeing the beautiful mountains everyday. The hotel was his home and even after moving to Bethlehem he would visit regularly. Retirement brought Luis to Bethlehem where he shared a home with his brother Hector, who had been by his side for many steps of his journey and two beautiful cats Bella and Simba that helped fill his home with love.

Luis is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his three brothers Carlos Vega, Jose Vega, and Hector Vega, as well as many nieces and nephews, and several close friends and colleagues. There will be a Celebration of Life at 2PM on Thursday August 24, 2017 in the Jefferson Room at the Mt. Washington Hotel. 

Brother, you were an amazing man that was loved and respected. Until we meet again. We will always love you!
