David F. Baldwin, 67, Franconia, died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. He was born December 11, 1951, in Concord, NH to Franklin and Laura (Nudd) Baldwin. David grew up in Henniker, NH, attended public schools and graduated from Henniker High School in 1969. He went on to earn an associates degree from NHTI and then served his country in the US Army, earning an honorable discharge.
David worked for over 30 years at William A. Smith Inc. Auctioneers in Plainfield. He lived in Hanover and later Bethlehem before moving to Franconia. He loved all sports, especially golf, participating in the Carlson Cup Golf Tournament in his younger years.
He leaves behind a sister, Mary E. Francoeur and her husband Donald of Rollinsford, NH, nieces Kimberly Dumais and her husband Douglas of Hillsboro, NH, and Bethany Fowler and her husband Ryan of Hopkinton, MA, great-nephews Derek Dumais and his wife Leighanna of Deering, NH, and Trevor Dumais and his girlfriend Mariah of Hillsboro, NH, an uncle James Baldwin and his wife Becky of Hillsboro, NH, close friends Bonnie Kilkenny of Franconia, NH and Conrad Weismann of Bethlehem, NH, as well as several cousins and many friends.
There will be a graveside service at the New Cemetery in Henniker, NH later this spring. Those who wish may make donations in David’s memory to Bethlehem Emergency Services, C/O Jack Andersen, PO Box 189, Bethlehem, NH 03574.
