Christopher Bonnie Wright Sr.

December 25, 1966 ~ May 25, 2017 (age 50) 50 Years Old

Christopher Bonnie Wright Sr, 50 of Lisbon, died Thursday May 25, 2017 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Lancaster, NH on December 25, 1966 to Glenn and Patricia (Wilson) Wright. He attended Dalton Elementary, CD McIntyre School, and White Mountain Regional School.

Christopher married Joanne Gray in Waterford, VT on May 17, 1986. The couple made their home in Lisbon, NH where they raised two sons. Christopher was a sawyer and skilled wood worker. He worked for T. Copeland and Sons in Bradford, VT, H.G. Wood in Bath, NH, Newman Lumber in Woodsville, NH, and, Robinson’s Sawmill in Passumpsic, VT.

He loved being in the woods whether it was for hunting, fishing or just going for a stroll with his kids and/or grandkids. He enjoyed taking “rides around the mountain.” He had a knack for making motors crank and fixing just about anything. He truly was a jack of all trades and would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He loved “puttering” around the house with family and friends and always had a cold beer in hand…actually it was always room temp. We will never forget the famous papa-euphemisms such as “Oh booger,” “You’ll have that,” and “Love you mostest.”

Christopher is survived by his wife, Joanne Wright of Lisbon, two sons, Christopher Wright Jr. and his wife, Tayla of Canterbury, NH, Aaron Wright and his wife Kristie of Lisbon, his father, Glenn Wright Jr. six brothers, Tim Wilson of Colebrook, Glenn Wright of North Carolina, William Wright of Concord, VT, Ray Wright of Island Pond, VT, Andrew Wright of St. Johnsbury, VT, and Jay Wright of St. Johnsbury, VT, three grand-children, Isabella Claire Wright, Jackson Aaron Wright, and Ryder Christopher Wright, 22 neices and nephews and a special Aunt Helen. He is predeceased by his mother and grand-parents.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Chris’s memory to, Lisbon Life Squad, 46 School St. Lisbon, NH 03585, or, Dartmouth Hitchcock Air Response Team (DHART), DHMC Development Fund, 1 Medical Center Dr. Lebanon, NH 03756.

A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held at his home in Lisbon, NH, Saturday June 17 at Noon. There will be a pig roast and a BBQ, bring a dish to share.
