Charlotte-Ann Taylor Obituary

Charlotte "Chicky" Ann (Dumas) Taylor, 73, of Lisbon, NH, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare Lafayette Center in Franconia, NH. She was born November 29, 1944 in Boston Massachusetts to Henry L. Dumas and Mary Gertrude (Houle) Dumas. Charlotte married Walter C. Taylor on November 5, 1961. They had 4 daughters. Teresa-Ann Taylor of Lisbon, NH (Deceased on August 3, 2017), Bonnie-Lynn (Taylor) Saindon of Lisbon, NH, Peggy-Sue Taylor of Franklin, NH, Wendy-Lee Taylor of Utah. Charlottle and Walter resided in North Easton, Massachusetts and later moved to Glencliff, NH where they raised their daughters. While Charlottle was disabled for many years, she didn't let that stop her from doing things she loved, like crafting, painting, coloring and shopping. She enjoyed conversations with anyone who didn't mind her sassy mouth, quick witted comebacks and she could talk for hours. Charlotte has been with her life partner, John McLaughlin, happily for the last 35 years. In addition to Charlotte's 4 daughters, she was gifted with step-children. Tammy (McLaughlin) Allin and her husband Chris Allin of Lunenburg, VT and John McLaughlin Jr of Rumford, Maine. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth P. Dumas of Weeki Wachee, FL. One nephew. Her daughters Bonnie, Peggy and Wendy. Her step-children Tammy and John. As well as 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. She was well liked by those who knew her and deeply loved by those closest to her. Especially a few of her beloved friends that she considered family. Mary Ann (May)Zabloki (Deaceased), Jan and Mike Coy of Lisbon, Phillis Qulick of Stoughton, Massachusetts, Greg and Celeste Couture of Franklin, NH. She also loved all her home health workers. There are no services planned but there will be a family gathering to celebrate her life.
