He was very seriously digging into a reading assignment and looking for conversation to exercise his curiosity. I was struck that I’ve never encountered a freshman so intent on really finding meaning in the text and I expected visits from him as the year went on to continue our discussions. Although I only knew Cam for a very short time, he impressed me so much! From the minute he met me, he treated me as if we were long time friends. He love of life and his energy sticks in my mind the most. He called me "PSU Mom" when we met. It was what was on my shirt. Every time I wear that shirt, I think of Cam.
