Barbara A. (Boutin) Hudson

LISBON:

Barbra Ann Hudson, 77, died in the morning hours of July 2, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at Dartmouth Hitchcock after a brief illness. “Barb” as she was known by many and “Meme” by her greatest treasures her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was born in Woodsville, NH on February 1, 1942, to Arthur and Clara (Lervy) Boutin. Barb was raised in Woodsville, North Haverhill area and then moving to Lisbon in her early childhood where she remained until taking residency at Grafton County Nursing Home, 3 years ago.

Barb was first married to Melvin E. Naylor. Father of Leota in 1960. Later Married Roydon S. Hudson of St. Johnsbury, VT, on March 12, 1971, father of Melonie, Jennifer, and Kenneth.

Barb worked at Lisbon Shoe and Connors Footwear for 30 plus years then cared for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren the majority of her life.

Barb was a member of the Lisbon Methodist church for four decades.

Barb is surrvived by her daughters, Leota Jean of Littleton, NH, Melonie Hudson of Greenville, SC and Jennifer LaFlam and husband Roger of Littleton, NH and son Kenneth A. Hudson of Lisbon.

She is the meme to her 8 grandchildren who she shared a special relationship in their own personal way. Kip Robinson of Littleton NH, Kotie Fenoff of Littleton NH, Hillary Leavitt of Woodsville NH, Halen Leavitt of Tigard OR, Kenneth Roy and Kolonie Hudson both of Lisbon NH, Jocelyn LaFlam of Littleton NH, and Hudson Dimick of Greenville SC.

Also the meme to her great-grandchildren, Mckenna and Kotie Robinson of Littleton NH, Kaden, and Ryver Aldrich also of Littleton NH and Kairi and Finley Leavitt of Tigard OR.

She has numerous nieces and nephews to name but a special thanks to Robert A. Boutin of Bath, NH.

She leaves a vast network of friends young and old who will miss her greatly and brought her much happiness and pride.

Barb was predeceased by her husband, Roydon “Roy” Hudson in April 2006, her mother and father, her brother Arthur Perley Boutin, sister Florence Tuttle, Julia Hanson, Alice Hudson, and Jeraldine Boutin. Great nephew Robert “Robbie” Boutin.

Barb touched many lives and will live on in all our hearts and treasured in all our souls. Barb’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren feel privileged to have such a great woman with them for so many years and take comfort in knowing that she is with our dad and Papa and other family members who have been waiting for her.

This isn’t a goodbye, this is a “TTFN” or a Ta Ta for now.

We will miss you Meme.

There will be no calling hours. Celebration of her life will be held July 8th, 2019 At 10 am at the Lisbon Methodist (white) Church, 49 South Main Street in Lisbon NH, followed by a graveside service at Grove Hill Cemetery.
