Arthur Gooden

Arthur R. Gooden, 54, Whitefield, left this world unexpectedly on February 20, 2018. Arthur was born May 21, 1963 in Whitefield to Raymond & Rita (Bourassa) Gooden. He was their first born son and was named after his maternal grandfather. He worked side by side for years with his father at the family business, “Ray's Sheet Metal Shop” in Whitefield. When his father retired, Art went to work for Wilco in Littleton, where he worked until his passing.

He is survived by the pride and joy of his life, his children, Cody Gooden and wife Chantel (Descoteaux) Gooden of Whitefield, and his daughter, Charlotte Gooden of Whitefield. He also leaves behind his mother, Rita Gooden of Twin Mountain, his brothers, Donald Gooden and wife Betty (Lea) Gooden, Dennis Gooden, Arnold Gooden and wife Melissa, several aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Raymond Gooden, paternal grandparents Larry & Charlotte Gooden and maternal grandparents, Arthur and Dora Bourassa.

Visiting Hours will be Friday March 2, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Ross Funeral Home, Whitefield Chapel, 69 Lancaster Rd. Whitefield, NH. Fr. Matthew Mason will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday March 3 at 11AM, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Jefferson Rd, Whitefield. Interment will take place at Park St. Cemetery on Saturday May 5, at 11AM.
