William R Carbonneau

William R. Carbonneau, 88, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Grafton County Nursing Home in No. Haverhill, NH. “Bill” was the youngest of five children born in Littleton, NH to William E. Carbonneau and Alice Rousseau Carbonneau. On May 12, 1956 he married his best friend and the love of his life, Theodora “Teddy” Beaton, also of Littleton.

Bill was a life-long resident of Littleton. He attended St. Rose of Lima parochial school and graduated from Littleton High School. He was a lifetime member of St. Rose of Lima Church. He was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus with 67years of continuous service. He proudly served 20 years in the New Hampshire National Guard. Bill loved working with wood. He was a well-known cabinetmaker for more than 60 years. During his career he was the owner of the former A.N. Farr Co. in Littleton, a provider of building materials and custom cabinetry and mill-work. His craftsmanship graces many homes and businesses throughout the region. Later in life, he downsized to a smaller shop in town where he continued to create beautiful work for customers, family and friends.

Bill is survived by his wife Teddy; two sons, Scott Carbonneau and his wife Lee of Loudon, NH; Kurt Carbonneau of Littleton, NH; a daughter, Lisa Dauphine and her husband Tim of Hooksett, NH; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kyle Dauphine, Amy and Ben Carbonneau; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his four siblings, Florence Aicardi Mullen of Tallahassee, FL, Raymond Carbonneau of Littleton, Lillian McTigue of Yuma, Arizona, and Irene Gallen Cushing of Littleton.

A special thank you to the staff at the Grafton County Nursing Home for their love and support. The care that they provided was remarkable. Also, thank you to the Ross Funeral Home for all of the arrangements. Deacon Steve Noyes will officiate a memorial service on Saturday, April 14, at 11AM at the Ross Funeral Home, 282 West Main Street, Littleton, NH. Burial will follow at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Littleton.
